You’re from Tampa—why the Denver Broncos?
I’ve always loved the Broncos! My dad is actually from Colorado, so he raised me to be a Broncos fan.
You’ve had two calendar shoots now, which one do you think was the best?
It’s hard to compare my two calendar shoots. The first one I was actually able to shoot with live animals, which was just an unreal experience. There were flamingos circling me the entire time. This more it was a little more relaxing and I was able to shoot wearing a custom Broncos bathing suit so it was really special.
Do you think that the audition process gets easier or harder through the years?
The audition process gets harder every year. Of course, I’ve only had two but going in after being on this team, you know what’s on the line and how much there is to lose. They expect more out of you so you really have to raise the bar every season.
What is a Broncos experience that you will never forget?
It’s always memorable when your team is the one to end an undefeated streak. I think beating the Patriots at home was a really incredible experience. The fans had the house rocking, our players played with such heart and it was my first snow game. Everything just fell into place.
What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger. I loved sciences, I loved learning about the way the world works, but physics was something that I couldn’t really get into.
What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is binge watching Ted Talks on YouTube.
You like to hike but you’re from Florida where there are no mountains, how did you get into hiking?
I just love everything about the mountains and the outdoors in Colorado. I think that there’s so much to explore. The whole process of climbing a mountain is incredible and when you stand on top of one it’s even better.
What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?
My dog, whose name is Denver, a fire starter, and music.
If you were a Broncos football player, what position would you play?
I want to say something on defense because I’m aggressive but I think I would actually play running back. My father was a running back and Floyd Little is my all-time favorite Broncos player so I would want to be like them.
The best thing about Broncos fans is…
They are diehard. They are at games no matter the weather, what the teams record is or who is on the roster. They’re all in.
