GET TO KNOW DBC MCKENNA:

What does being a DBC mean to you? Being a Denver Broncos Cheerleader is such a blessing. We are given the unique opportunity to represent this outstanding organization and interact with the amazing Denver community in a way that no other job can. Denver Broncos Cheerleaders are strong, professional, athletic and successful women, and I am forever grateful to be a part of this legacy.

Who is your inspiration? I am so fortunate to have been surrounded by some pretty incredible women throughout my life. I have had so many great role models, many of whom were dancers and former cheerleaders. But no one has had a larger impact on me than my mom. She is the most genuine, giving, selfless and strong woman I know, and she inspires me every day to push myself to be the absolute best in everything I do and to be a good person.

Tell us about the first concert you've ever been to... The Fray! I went with my sister and dad when they performed in an indoor hockey rink in Vail before they got big. It was a blast!

What is your biggest fear? I really don't like anything that involves bananas.

What habit would you most like to break? I think I really should try to go to sleep earlier. I'm such a night owl, but I get up really early for workouts before work.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert? I would consider myself an extrovert, I love to provide comedic relief and make people smile and feel welcome.

What was your first job? I worked as a hostess for a Ted's Montana Grill. It was a great first real job.

What's up next on your Bucket List? I would have to say traveling to Australia would be next!

When was the last time you did something you were afraid of? I had the opportunity to travel to South Korea with DBC Brielle in February 2018 to represent the Broncos on a Military Tour. I was pretty scared for the long travel, but having a friend by my side made the whole experience so special and fun!

What is your dream vacation destination? I would love to see Bali!

Any hidden talents or tricks you can do? I know American Sign Language! I'm also pretty good at jump roping.

Do you have any pets? I have a dog named Remy! He's part Lhasa Apso and part King Charles Cavalier, but full sweetheart!

What sports did you play growing up? I have always been in dance, but I also played soccer and tennis for a while.

When did you first start dancing/cheerleading? I've been in dance classes ever since I could walk! I danced for my high school dance team for three years, and then I began my professional dance career.

Describe yourself in four words? Driven, enthusiastic, patient, goofy

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I would love to be able to fly!

In 10 years I see myself... Hopefully I will have my Masters in Speech Pathology and my BCBA. I'll be working, coaching and raising a family!

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I think I really wanted to be an actress. What young kid doesn't want to be on TV?

What advice would you give your younger self? Be confident in yourself and your abilities. Stand up for what you believe in, and pursue your dreams fearlessly.
