Injury Report: Courtland Sutton listed as limited participant after leaving practice

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Wide receiver Courtland Sutton exited Thursday's practice with a shoulder injury and was listed as a limited participant on the team's practice report.

After participating in the stretching period and individual drills during the media-viewing portion of practice, Sutton walked to the locker room with trainers after making a catch late in the individual period.

Sutton was one of five players listed as limited on the team's first official practice report of the season.

Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (knee), guard Graham Glasgow (ankle), wide receiver KJ Hamler (hamstring) and tight end Albert Okwuegbunam (ankle) were also listed as limited.

Head Coach Vic Fangio said before Thursday's practice that team was continuing to monitor Chubb's progression.

"He came through yesterday's practice very good," Fangio said. "He looked better. Just as importantly, he woke up feeling better too than he had been. That's always critical too. … Today's a shorter practice. We're going to give him some good work and see how he progresses."

Safety Trey Marshall (wrist) was a full participant, while outside linebacker Von Miller (ankle) and linebacker Mark Barron (hamstring) did not participate. Miller is expected to be placed on injured reserve.

Michael Ojemudia, who wasn't on the team's injury report, continues to progress well after missing a portion of training camp with a quad injury.

"Better, he's gotten better every day," Fangio said of his status. "We've slowly progressed him from rehab on the side to individual, to a few plays in practice to where he's up to taking a normal allotment of practice snaps now, I believe. He has improved. It's been steady and nice. He hasn't had any potholes along the way. We like where he's progressing physically."

The Broncos will release practice reports on Friday and Saturday and will announce game statuses on Saturday.
