Get to know Annie:
What does being a DBC mean to you?** To be a DBC means being a role model everywhere I go, and representing the Denver Broncos organization as best as I can. It also means representing all of the past and present DBC, as well as setting a precedent for future DBC. Being a DBC means the world to me and I’m so thankful that I can call these women my smart, strong and beautiful teammates.
Who is your hero? My hero is my high school poms coach, Lindy. She was a DBC a few years ago and without her I wouldn’t be where I am today. She is an incredible role model and inspiration to everyone she meets!
Tell us about the first concert you’ve ever been to? The first concert I went to was 3OH!3. I was definitely not a fan of the mosh pit, but I still had a blast!
What is your dream vacation destination? Europe, for sure! Which actually came true as a graduation gift from my family!
When did you first start dancing/cheerleading? I actually started dancing in high school. I grew up playing soccer, so it was quite a change when I switched over.
In 10 years I see myself… Happy, working and hopefully still dancing.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be an orthodontist because teeth always intrigued me. I was also always in my orthodontist’s office getting my teeth worked on, so I suppose that inspired me for a while!
What advice would you give your younger self? Life has an amazing way of working out, just breathe, have trust, and be happy regardless.
