ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos are going old school.
Denver will wear its 1977-inspired throwback uniforms in Week 8 against the Cowboys and on two other occasions during the 2025 season.
The Broncos will also wear the uniform set in Week 10 on "Thursday Night Football" against the Raiders and in the season finale against the Chargers in Week 18.
Denver is 2-0 in the uniform set, as the team earned wins over the Raiders and Chiefs in 2024.
Inspired by the Orange Crush era and the 1977 season that culminated in the team's first Super Bowl appearance, the throwback jerseys were introduced as part of the Mile High Collection in 2024.
The orange jerseys feature oversized white numbers with Legacy Blue trim, and the pants feature an orange-and-Legacy-Blue stripe down the side of the pants.
The look also includes the popular Denver "D" logo on a Legacy Blue shell, a white facemask and a vertical orange stripe. Denver will wear orange-and-blue striped socks with the combination.
Denver, which wore its alternate Midnight Navy uniforms in a Week 4 win over the Bengals, is able to feature the throwback jerseys three times due to a recent rule change. During the offseason, the NFL introduced a new policy that allows teams to wear their alternate jerseys four times in a season instead of three.
The Broncos face the Cowboys (3-3-1) — their opponent in Super Bowl XII — on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS.
