ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added another tight end to their practice squad.
Denver signed tight end Patrick Murtagh to the practice squad, the team announced Thursday.
The Broncos received an international practice player exemption for Murtagh, which allows the team to have an additional player on its practice squad.
Murtagh previously played Australian Rules Football and competed with the Jaguars in 2024 through the NFL's International Pathway Program. The former decathlete also spent time with the Lions in 2023.
In June, he competed with the Broncos as a tryout player during mandatory minicamp.
The 6-foot-5, 250-pound player is the 17th player on the Broncos' practice squad.
Denver previously announced a series of practice squad signings on Wednesday.
