ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have made a pair of roster moves following their preseason win over the Cardinals.

Denver signed fullback Adam Prentice and placed guard Nick Gargiulo on injured reserve, the team announced Sunday.

Prentice, who competed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2021, appeared in 48 games for the Saints over the last four seasons.

The South Carolina product started 13 contests and averaged more than 150 snaps on offense per season. He also was a consistent special teams contributor, playing more than 40 percent of the snaps across the games in which he appeared.

Prentice has nine career carries for 26 yards and eight career catches for 37 yards.

Gargiulo, a 2024 seventh-round pick, suffered an injury during Saturday night's win over the Cardinals and was carted off the field.
