ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver has retained another key player in the middle of its defense.

The Broncos re-signed inside linebacker Justin Strnad to a three-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Strnad, who joined inside linebacker Alex Singleton in re-signing with the Broncos, appeared in 16 games and started eight contests for Denver in 2025. He notched 58 tackles, five tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, three passes defensed, an interception and a career-high eight quarterback hits last season. The Wake Forest product's fourth-quarter interception in Week 7 against the Giants helped kick-start one of the biggest comebacks in franchise history.

Strnad also started eight games in 2024, and he has started 21 total games in his five-year career. Since the start of 2021, Strnad has played in 83 of a possible 85 regular-season games.

The 2020 fifth-round pick has recorded 177 career tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hits, 7.5 sacks, six passes defensed and an interception in his career. Strnad, who has played over 50 percent of Denver's defensive snaps in each of the last two seasons, has also played at least 30 percent of Denver's special teams snaps in that span.

In addition to Strnad and Singleton, the Broncos have also re-signed offensive lineman Alex Palczewski and tight ends Adam Trautman and Nate Adkins.
