PHILADELPHIA — The Broncos have made a pair of roster moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Denver promoted linebacker Garret Wallow from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.
The Broncos placed tight end Lucas Krull on injured reserve in a corresponding move.
Wallow has played in each of the past three games but had used his maximum number of practice squad elevations. Following his promotion to the 53-man roster, the TCU product is now able to continue appearing in games for the Broncos.
In three games this season, Wallow has played 61 percent of Denver's special teams snaps.
Wallow joined the Broncos in early August and then signed to the team's practice squad after the initial 53-man roster was set.
Krull, who was also inactive in Week 4, was added to the injury report on Friday with a foot injury and ruled out. He would be eligible to return as soon as the Broncos' Week 9 game against the Texans. He had a pair of catches for 15 yards across three games this season.
