Broncos name Andrew Carter as defensive quality control coach

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have named Andrew Carter as the team's defensive quality control coach.

Carter worked the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Kansas and was poised to join the University of Tennessee at Martin as the team's defensive line coach.

Prior to his time at Kansas, Carter worked as the defensive tackles coach for a season at Hampton University in 2019 after serving as the defensive line coach at Eastern Illinois University in 2018. Carter also worked at EIU in 2017 as a graduate assistant who helped with the defensive line and aided the team's director of football operations.

Carter also has two seasons of high school coaching experience. Carter graduated from Nicholls State, where he played collegiate football.
