ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have re-signed another starter ahead of Week 13.

Denver signed center Luke Wattenberg to a four-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.

Wattenberg, a 2022 fifth-round pick, has started at center for the Broncos since the beginning of the 2024 season. He was poised to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year.

The Washington product has started all 11 games and played every snap for the Broncos in 2025.

According to the NFL's NextGen Stats, Wattenberg has allowed the second-lowest quarterback pressure percentage (3.8%) among all centers with at least 400 pass-blocking snaps. He's also one of just two centers with that number of snaps to not allow a sack in 2025.

The Broncos also signed defensive tackle Malcolm Roach to an extension on Wednesday and extended kicker Wil Lutz on Monday. The team also has extended wide receiver Courtland Sutton, defensive lineman Zach Allen and outside linebacker Nik Bonitto since the start of training camp.
