Two Added to Broncos Coaching Staff

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --The Denver Broncos on Tuesday announced the additions of Assistant Offensive Line Coach James Cregg and Offensive Quality Control Coach Bo Hardegree to the club's coaching staff.

Cregg, who has 17 seasons of coaching experience, including two years at the NFL level, spent the last four seasons as the offensive line coach at the University of Southern California. He coached first-team All-Pac 12 Conference selections in each of his four years with the Trojans, including offensive tackles and future NFL first-round draft picks Tyron Smith (No. 9, Dal., 2011) and Matt Kalil (No. 4, Min., 2012).

Cregg coached the offensive line for the University of Tennessee from 2009-10 under Head Coach Lane Kiffin after serving as the assistant offensive line coach for Kiffin with the Oakland Raiders from 2007-08.

Before his two years in Oakland, Cregg served as defensive line coach for the University of Idaho (2004-06) and Colgate University (2000-03). A three-year letterman at Colorado State University, where he played on the offensive line from 1992-95, he got his start in coaching as a defensive graduate assistant for his alma mater from 1997-99.

Cregg, who attended Norco (Calif.) High School, is married to Dayna, and the couple has a daughter, McKenzie. He was born on Aug. 18, 1973.

Hardegree will begin his seventh season coaching after working for three years at Louisiana State University (2011-13) and three seasons at Duke University (2008-10).

At Duke, he worked under Blue Devils Head Coach David Cutcliffe, who was his offensive coordinator as a quarterback at the University of Tennessee from 2003-06.

A member of the Volunteers' Southeastern Conference championship team in 2004, Hardegree graduated from Tennessee in 2007.

Hardegree attended Jackson (Tenn.) Central-Merry High School and was born on July 5, 1984.
