The Squeeze: Taste of the Broncos edition

Hello #BroncosCountry,

We hope you're enjoying your week thus far! Here is a behind-the-scenes look at what went down at the Taste of the Broncos last night!

1. Mile High harmony

The highlight of the evening had to be the finale. Following a dessert hour filled with delicious bites from local restaurants, fans headed into the stadium where they were entertained by the Colorado Symphony and some special conductors.

To open the night, Kansas alums Chris Harris Jr. and Steven Johnson led the orchestra in a rendition of the Kansas fight song, "I'm a Jayhawk."

Following the Jayhawks came Wisconsin alum Montee Ball conducting "On Wisconsin" and another duo in Notre Dame alums safety David Bruton Jr. and tackle Ryan Harris. The Fighting Irish pair electrified the crowd with some traditional jigs in tune to Notre Dame's fight song.

Outside linebacker Von Miller had his chance next with Texas A&M's "Aggie War Hymn".

To conclude the evening, Peyton Manning made his appearance to conduct his alma mater Tennessee's "Rocky Top." Behind the scenes, Manning took his conducting very seriously. He met with the symphony's conductor before his performance to get some pointers.

2. Football players / sous chefs

From food prep to adding finishing touches to the delicious food, the players embraced their new roles as sous chefs at the Taste of the Broncos. At the event, each player in attendance was paired with a restaurant where they helped with food prep and mingled with fans.

Max Garcia, one of the newest additions this season, enjoyed his post at the Tables restaurant booth. DenverBroncos.com's Christine Williamson caught up with Max to talk about his delicious deviled eggs – with an epic photobomb by Ben Garland.

3. #BroncosCountry

Overall, the event wouldn't have been the same without the amazing Broncos faithful. Fans from all over trekked to Sports Authority Field at Mile High to hang out with players and taste the delicious food – even when it started down pouring!

4. Top tweet

Last night the Golden State Warriors clinched the NBA championship – something tight end Marcel Jensen has been waiting for since he was a kid!

5. In case you missed it…

Quarterback Peyton Manning will depend on youth for protection in 2015.

Outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware says that rookie offensive lineman Ty Sambrailo is “doing a great job”.

Head Coach Gary Kubiak says running back C.J. Anderson's starting spot is “his spot to hang on to”.

As OTAs come to an end, tight end Virgil Green says while things are a lot different, the team has done a "great job responding".
