Similar to the approach the Broncos took during OTAs, several veteran players are not expected to participate in Monday's practice to allow them to rest and give younger players an opportunity for increased repetitions.

The following players are not expected to practice Monday: Quarterback Peyton Manning, Cornerbacks Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib, safety T.J. Ward, linebackers DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller, guard Louis Vasquez and tight end Owen Daniels.

"This is the plan we've had in place this offseason," Kubiak said. "It's not just Brock (Osweiler) today [getting more repetitions]. It's other guys. I want to see how they respond."

The Broncos take the field for practice at 9:30 a.m. // // //
