The Pro Bowl Push: How Phillip Lindsay has wowed his teammates

With **voting for the 2019 Pro Bowl underway**, it's our job to make sure Broncos fans are as well informed as possible before they do their civic NFL duty. So, to provide valuable perspective for the outstanding seasons some of the Broncos' top players are putting forward this year, we asked their teammates why they should make the Pro Bowl.

"Phillip, he's definitely having a Pro Bowl season. Obviously he's a rookie, so that's going to be tough for him, but he definitely deserves it. Ever since he got the opportunity, he's taken advantage of it and made a lot of big plays for us. He's definitely, in my opinion, a Rookie of the Year candidate, in terms of what he's done. — wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders

"He's proved that he belongs. He shows up, he goes to work — he's not a big guy, so he has the bumps and bruises, but you never hear him really complain about it. He just shows up and goes to work. That's one thing that I appreciate out of him, because I'm sitting there watching the film and I'm like, 'How did he get through that hole?' Or, 'He sat in there and made a block on an end that's three times bigger than him, and he sits in there and takes a shot so that Case can get the ball out to one of us.' He's just such a competitor. If anybody watches him, he plays with such a fire. Every time he has a run, he gets up and he's hyped. He carries an energy about him, and that's one thing that makes him, him. It's just his energy, his fight that he brings to the game." — wide receiver Courtland Sutton

"I'm in awe of what he does on the football field. An undrafted guy like myself coming in and really making a name for himself, and he's really just unstoppable, it feels like. Through [13] weeks of the season, he's really just been unstoppable, whether it's the run, the pass, you really can't defend against him.

"It was some of the one-on-one matchups [in training camp when I noticed that he was for real] where he was beating linebackers, and then he would go out there against a corner and beat him too. And I was just like, 'Oh, dang. This guy's going to be hard to cover for a lot of people.'" — inside linebacker Todd Davis

"Definitely, I feel like Phil's having a great season, outperforming some of the best players to play the game that's in the league at this time. He's just a guy who's just coming in every day, head down, just putting in the work. He may talk some trash here and there, but he's just a guy who genuinely loves the game of football. He's going to do whatever it takes to be successful at it." — outside linebacker Bradley Chubb
