Broncos Injury Report: Emmanuel Sanders returns to practice

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- **Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and inside linebacker Joe Jones returned to the field as the Broncos went inside the Pat Bowlen Fieldhouse for Thursday's practice.

Sanders, who has an ankle issue, saw a full workload. Jones, who has an Achilles tendon injury, had limited repetitions.

Guard Ron Leary did not take part in practice because of a back injury. He has not practiced since being injured against Oakland on Nov. 26.

"He's getting better slowly," Head Coach Vance Joseph said. "But obviously, if he was healthy enough to play, he would play. Simple as that."

Nose tackle Domata Peko Sr. was held out of a fifth consecutive practice because of a knee injury, but he was on hand watching drills at the start of practice.

Quarterback Paxton Lynch (ankle) also did not practice and has already been ruled out for Sunday.

Defensive lineman Zach Kerr was also excused from practice because of a personal matter.
