Injury updates vs. the New England Patriots

DENVER —The Broncos welcomed the New England Patriots to Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Sunday for a rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game. The following is a running list of injury updates:

2:45 p.m. MT:Tight end Virgil Green was helped off the field after he was hit in the head as he was being tackled. The injury occurred with 8:53 to go in the first quarter of a 3-0 game led by the Patriots.

He is currently being evaluated for a possible concussion.

Quarterback Trevor Siemian found Green on first-and-10 for a gain of 9 yards to the New England 43-yard line.

3:06 p.m. MT:Green has been listed as out for the remainder of the game.

3:58 p.m. MT:DE Derek Wolfe is out with a neck injury.

His last recorded play came with 4:38 to play in the first half when he combined with Corey Nelson to tackle Dion Lewis after a gain of four yards. Rookie Adam Gotsis joined the rotation at the defensive end spot in Wolfe's absence.
