Gameday Advisory: Broncos vs. Chargers

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – The time is finally nearing for the Broncos to host an AFC Divisional Round playoff game, as kickoff is set for 2:40 p.m. MST Sunday. If you plan on attending the game, there is some important information you should know.

Early tailgating spaces will open Sunday morning at 8 a.m. and all parking lots will be open at 9:30 a.m. It should be noted, however, that parking spots on site are primarily reserved for season ticket holders with pre-sold permits. There are a limited number of single-game spaces available for those without permits but are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Those spots will cost $20 to $30 (cash only) and historically sell out by 12:30 p.m. or earlier.

Additionally parking will be made available at the Pepsi Center and the Auraria Campus for $15. Both of those locations are about a 10-minute walk from the stadium.

Fans can also take the light rail to the game as both the Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station and the Decatur-Federal station are about eight-minute walks from the stadium. Fans choosing to take the light rail are advised to purchase round-trip tickets when they depart to avoid delays after the game.

There will be shuttles from Park and Ride lots throughout the metro area as well as Federal and Market Streets. The Park and Ride shuttles will begin two and half hours prior to kickoff and the Federal and Market Street shuttles begin two hours prior to kick off.

Fans are advised to arrive at the gates by 1:45 p.m. to minimize delays and inconvenience.

The NFL bag policy that went into place at the start of this season remains in effect. That means that each fan is permitted one clear bag no larger than 12" by 6" by 12" or a one-gallon clear freezer bag. A small clutch is also permitted but can be no bigger than 6.5" by 4.5".

Blankets are allowed and can be carried into the stadium without taking up space in the allotted bag.

The weather forecast for Sunday shows a high of 45 and a low of 27 with winds at 17 mph. The sun is expected to set at 4:57 p.m.
