D. Thomas named AFC Offensive Player of the Week

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.- ** After catching eight passes for a franchise-record 226 yards with two touchdowns on Sunday, Demaryius Thomas has been selected as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

His 226 yards are the most by any NFL player this season and the two-time Pro Bowler's performance was just the fifth 200-yard receiving performance by a Bronco ever.

"First off, I have to thank my offensive line and my quarterback—without them nothing could've happen," Thomas said after the game. "Just to be a part of what Peyton had is special and also coming out and having a franchise-record day is special. I remember coming off the field, they dragged me off and I had to talk to a couple people and I didn't know what to say because I was still shocked."

He had touchdown receptions of 31 and 86 yards, with the latter being the fourth-longest reception in team history.

Thomas received the same honor after Week 10 of last season. Teammate Julius Thomas was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after his Week 1 performance.
