Children's Hospital Colorado Junior Reporter: Chase gets to know Demaryius Thomas

Reporting for Children's Hospital Colorado, Chase spent a special day at UCHealth Training Center in September, meeting Case Keenum, Von Miller, Chris Harris Jr. and Adam Jones before sitting down to interview Demaryius Thomas. But that wasn't all — Demaryius Thomas also autographed his helmet and gave it to him.

Have you ever been to the Broncos' training facility? On September 26th, I had the privilege of touring the Paul D. Bowlen Memorial Broncos Centre. When I went to the Broncos training facility I got to see the cafeteria, the fields and the weight room. My favorite thing that I got to see was the weight room because I liked to see the machines and how the players use them.

When the tour was finished, I got to meet a lot of Broncos players. One of the players that I met was Demaryius Thomas. I also got to meet more players, including Von Miller, Case Keenum, Chris Harris and Adam Jones. Meeting the Broncos was amazing, but interviewing Demaryius Thomas was the highlight of my day.

While interviewing Demaryius Thomas, a wide receiver for the Broncos since 2010, I noticed what a good guy he is. He was really nice, liked talking to kids, and shared more with me than the other players. I learned that during the summer he likes to do camps for kids and travel. Every time I asked him a question, he would ask me the same one back. It made me feel really good that he wanted to know more about me, too.

Overall, I had great time on the tour and interviewing the players. This was truly an unforgettable day.
