ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --A total of 18 Broncos are set to become free agents at the end of the 2012 league year.
Denver has 12 unrestricted free agents on the roster, four restricted free agents and two exclusive-rights free agents.
Unrestricted free agents may negotiate and sign with any team, while the Broncos have the right to match any offer extended to a restricted free agent. Exclusive-rights free agents may only sign with Denver.

UPDATE:The Broncos placed the franchise tag on on March 1. The team issued tenders to five of its six RFAs on March 8. David Bruton re-signed with the Broncos on March 12.
