DENVER — The Denver Broncos will again partner with Nationwide to host their second annual Taste of the Broncos, a gourmet tailgate for a cause, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, June 14 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Tickets to the event went on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2. Click here to purchase tickets.

Taste of the Broncos, held at Noble Energy Sports Legends Mall, on the south end of the stadium, will allow patrons to enjoy food and drink from approximately 35 Colorado restaurants. Proceeds from the event will benefit Food Bank of the Rockies, a Broncos flagship community partner, as well as Denver Broncos Charities.

For the second year, chef Troy Guard will act as the lead chef for the event. The owner of six Denver-area restaurants, including TAG, Guard and Grace, Sugarmill, Los Chingones, TAG Burger Bar, Sunnyside Burger Bar and two BUBU locations (Downtown and Lowry), Guard is the longtime Denver Broncos chef representative at the annual Taste of the NFL event.

The Blue Canyon Boys (winners of the 2008 Telluride Bluegrass Festival band contest) and the Broncos' DeMarcus Ware, a nine-time Pro Bowler and four-time first-team All-Pro, will provide live music entertainment at the gourmet tailgate event.

This will be Ware's first music performance since his high school days, when he sang in Mirage, an R&B band of him and a few friends.

Since 1992, the Taste of the NFL has rallied the country's top chefs and the NFL's greatest players to raise money in support of food banks throughout the United States.

KUSA's Cheryl Preheim will emcee Taste of the Broncos on behalf of the event's media partner.

Opportunities to meet Broncos players, coaches, alumni, cheerleaders and Miles the Mascot will be available throughout the evening. Several head chefs representing their respective Colorado restaurants will be available to discuss food and drink offerings with patrons
