Preseason Broadcast Team Announced

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – The Broncos and 9News announced on Monday that longtime Denver sports and news anchor Ron Zappolo*will *be the play-by-play announcer for all four of the Broncos' preseason games.

Former Broncos John Lynch (vs. Sea., 8/7; vs. Hou., 8/23; at Dal., 8/28) and Alfred Williams (at S.F., 8/17) will provide analysis with Zappolo in the booth. KUSA-TV anchor/reporter Rod Mackey will report from the sidelines.

All of the games will air on KTVD Channel 20. This is the fourth consecutive year that 9News will serve as the Broncos' official television partner and preseason network.

Zappolo has worked in the Denver market for more than 30 years and is currently a weekend sports conversationalist at KUSA-TV.

Lynch, a Pro Bowler during each of his four years (2004-07) playing for the Broncos, is entering his seventh season as an analyst for FOX NFL broadcasts. Williams provided commentary for two preseason broadcasts for 9News in 2011 and Mackey worked as a preseason sideline reporter with 9News Broncos broadcasts during the last three years.

In addition to airing preseason games, KUSA-TV provides local programming such as Broncos Huddle, Broncos Tonight, Broncos Sideline Stories and Broncos Game Day Live.
