Peyton Manning passes 70,000 career passing yards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. —** With a 10-yard pass to Emmanuel Sanders in the third quarter against Kansas City, Peyton Manning reached 70,000 career passing yards.

Manning entered the game needing 134 passing yards to hit the milestone. At the end of the drive, Manning had 143 passing yards in the game.

The only other player to reach 70,000 career passing yards was Brett Favre, whom Manning passed in career passing touchdowns in 2014 for the current NFL record.
