Fangio updates status of Josey Jewell after #JAXvsDEN

DENVER — Linebacker Corey Nelson suffered an eye injury during the second quarter of Sunday's game while the Broncos were on to punt.

Nelson walked off the field with trainers. He is probable to return, the team announced.

UPDATE [3:40 p.m. MDT]: Josey Jewell suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter.

Jewell was ruled out, the team announced.

Jewell missed two practices this week with a hamstring injury and was questionable before Sunday's game.

UPDATE [5:05 p.m. MDT]: Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter.

Chubb was attended to by trainers on the sidelines. He is questionable to return, the team announced.

He was also attended to by trainers on the field previously in the third quarter and briefly left the game.

UPDATE [5:20 p.m. MDT]: Chubb returned to the field for the Jaguars' next possession.

"[It was] just cramps," Chubb said after the game. "It was a long game, hot game. [I'm] feeling good now, but I just have to shake that off, hydrate more and can't let my team down by not being on the field."

Head Coach Vic Fangio gave an update on Jewell in his postgame press conference, as well: "His hamstring acted up again."
