Injury Update: Broncos lose five players to injuries

Inside linebacker Danny Trevathan missed the second half with a concussion. He will go into the league-mandated post-concussion protocol.

Broncos running back C.J. Anderson will not return to action against the Chargers with an ankle injury. Anderson suffered the injury just before halftime.

"I'm not worried at all. I'm fine," he said after the game.

Backup Juwan Thompson took Anderson's share of the snaps during the second half, splitting work with Ronnie Hillman.

Tight end Vernon Davis suffered a concussion at the end of the first half after Melvin Ingram's helmet collided with his face mask. Like Trevathan, Davis will go into the league-mandated protocol.

Late in the fourth quarter, David Bruton Jr. was helped off of the field with a knee injury.

Safety Omar Bolden left with a hamstring injury late in the game. Backup Josh Bush replaced him in the defense's sub package, and WR Emmanuel Sanders filled in for Bolden on punt returns.
