Injury Report: Tim Patrick, Ron Leary limited participants in Thursday's practice

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Wide receiver Tim Patrick returned to practice Thursday in a limited capacity after missing Wednesday's session.

"He's fine," Head Coach Vic Fangio said Thursday. "He's got the shoulder [injury], but I think he'll be able to go [on Sunday]."

Guard Ron Leary (shoulder/neck) also returned to practice on a limited basis, but guard Dalton Risner (ankle) and center Connor McGovern (back) missed practice for the second consecutive day.

"It happened during the game," Fangio said of McGovern's injury. "I think it's been bothering him for a little while and just got worse during the game to where it became something you needed to treat and rest."yeah

Fangio said he believed McGovern would play Sunday against Buffalo. He said Wednesday he expected Risner and Leary to play, as well.

Tackle Ja'Wuan James, who was limited again Thursday with a knee injury, remains questionable for Sunday. Fangio said he is "still really 50-50."

Fangio said tight end Jeff Heuerman (knee) is in "better shape" to play than James.

The Broncos' head coach has "a little bit" of concern about linebacker Justin Hollins' status as he deals with a hamstring injury. Fangio said he's less concerned about linebacker Joe Jones (foot), but "there's still some question."

Both Hollins and Jones did not practice Thursday.
