DENVER — The Denver Broncos on Monday announced the release of an exclusive Apple Watch app that will allow fans to follow the team from their wrist.
Through the Broncos Apple Watch app, one of only five developed by NFL teams, Broncos fans will be instantly notified of statistics, breaking news and other exclusive digital content. Developed in partnership with YinzCam, an industry leader in creating professional sports teams' mobile applications, the free app syncs with the team's existing Broncos 365 mobile app for iPhone and iPad to create a seamless user experience between devices using the native iOS feature.
"We are very excited to partner with YinzCam in the development of our Apple Watch app," Denver Broncos Director of Digital Media Ben Hunt said. "Being one of the first NFL teams to release an official app on Apple's newest device shows our commitment to providing our fans with the most immediate Broncos information."
The new app for Apple Watch expands the reach of the Broncos' mobile portfolio, powered by Verizon, which includes apps for iPhone, iPod Touch, Android smartphones and tablets, as well as Windows smartphones.
