DENVER –The Denver Broncos and Baird on Tuesday announced the implementation of the "Baird First Downs Program" benefitting Denver Broncos Charities. Baird is an employee-owned international financial services firm with offices in Denver and Boulder, Colo.

As part of the new partnership, Baird will make a donation to Denver Broncos Charities for every first down the Broncos make over the course of eight home games and any post season games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in 2015.

"Baird is excited to partner with the Denver Broncos and to make a contribution to Denver Broncos Charities every time the Broncos get a first down this season through the Baird First Downs Program," said Steve Binder, Director of the Colorado Market for Baird Private Wealth Management. "This program aligns well with Baird's long-standing tradition of giving back to the communities in which our associates live and work."

Mike Schroeder, President of Baird Private Wealth Management, agreed. "Denver is a vitally important and growing market to Baird, and we are pleased to actively support many local community organizations. Given that football and the Broncos in particular are a keen interest of many of our clients, as well as current and potential Baird associates, this sponsorship benefitting Denver Broncos Charities is a perfect fit for us," he said. At the conclusion of the 2015 season, a local event will be held when Baird will present a check to Denver Broncos Charities for the total sum of all first down conversions made at home.
