Four months ago, the Broncos' white fiberglass horse was removed atop the Broncos' scoreboard for just the second time since 1975. Now, he's back and at a new elevation.

In a conference call with media on Friday, league broadcasting executives explained why they placed the Broncos in four prime-time matchups.

For the nearly two dozen Broncos rookies, practicing as part of an NFL team is "a dream come true," but they also know their work is just beginning.

"I would tell you that we expect him to be ready for the start of training camp, and that's good news," Head Coach Sean Payton said.

In addition to their divisional slate, the Broncos will play the NFC North and AFC East in 2023.

"I think what's most important with these sessions is having a platform and opportunity for those kids to talk about real-world life issues and be heard on those from adults and even their peers," Simmons says.
