While some veterans took it easy at practice on Wednesday, Tyke Tolbert got a few reps.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.** — Denver Broncos kicker Connor Barth was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for December, the National Football League informed the Broncos on Wednesday.

This represents the first such honor of his career and the eighth in Broncos history since the award was initiated by the NFL in 1993.

Barth made 10-of-11 field goals (90.9%) and all 13 extra point attempts in four games during the month of December. Accounting for 43 points in those contests, Barth recorded two games with at least four field goals made, including a 5-for-5 performance at San Diego in Week 15 to tie the team record for field goals in a single game.
