Roya Burton enters her second season as a player personnel coordinator/scout for the Denver Broncos in 2026 and her seventh year overall with the club. Burton has previously spent time as a scouting coordinator (2023-24) and player personnel assistant (2022) with the Broncos.

In her current role as scouting coordinator, Burton contributes to all aspects of day-to-day football operations, including the evaluation of all college and pro prospects. She analyzes players who are currently playing in other professional football leagues and is the lead on all player background and social media checks.

Preceding her time in personnel, Burton was a social content assistant for two seasons from 2020-21. She assisted in the development and creation of social content for the Broncos' social and digital channels.

Prior to the Broncos, Burton spent the 2019 NFL season with the Detroit Lions, serving as a new media intern. She's also spent time with NFL Films, working as a production intern.

Burton attended Grand Valley State University (Allendale, Mich.) from 2013-15, where she competed on the Lakers' track & field team. She completed her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in journalism.
