Welker, Wolfe, Webster Out

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- After sitting out this week of practice, three Broncos – Wes Welker, Derek Wolfe and Kayvon Webster – are listed as out for Sunday's game in Houston.

Welker sustained a concussion against the Titans in Week 14 and also sat out last week's game against the Chargers.

Wolfe, a defensive end, is still recovering from illness and Webster, a cornerback, suffered a fractured thumb last week against the Chargers and underwent surgery.

"Everything is good," Head Coach John Fox said Friday about Webster's recovery. "Like I mentioned early on when the injury ocurred, it's very similar to (linebacker) Von Miller, I think. He missed this week just because he is recovering from an actual surgery – you don't want to risk any kind of an infection.

"Players' health and safety (come) first. But I think next week, there is more of an opportunity in a cast that he could be able to play."
