Veterans of Colorado: Dennis M. Orr


Dennis served four years in the United States Air Force after receiving his Navigator Wings. During his time in the service, he earned a Combat Readiness, National Defense, Marksman, and Nuclear Weapons Certificates. He was a Combat Crew Navigator-Bombardier in B-52's in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the Cold War/Vietnam Era and separated from the Air Force as Captain.

Today, Dennis is the founder, President, and CEO of Colorow Consulting, Inc., this is a service that advises companies on how to strategically manage training programs in hopes to lead professional development in an array of industries. Dennis' favorite Broncos memory is watching John Elway and The Drive.

In addition, Dennis is the President of the United Veterans Coalition of Colorado (UVC). The mission at UVC is to activate and represent member organizations, speaking with one unified voice in Colorado; to work with and educate state and federal elected and appointed public policy makers to ensure support for veteran issues and concerns; and to inform/educate Colorado citizens about the needs of veterans, active duty armed service members and their families.
