DENVER — The Broncos will collaborate to build a new playground at the Garden Court Apartments (1150 Syracuse St., Denver) on Tuesday as part of a joint service day with The CarMax, KaBOOM! Playground Builds, Rocky Mountain Communities and residents of the Denver community.

More than 225 volunteers, including Broncos staff members, will be on site for the assembling of the playground, which intends to serve more than 400 children in Denver.

Manny Ramirez and Louis Vasquez will be in attendance for the final stages of the build and be present for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

KaBOOM! is a national non-profit dedicated to ensuring that all children, particularly the 16 million American children living in poverty, are afforded active play areas that inspire, empower, educates and elevates conversation about the importance of play in children's lives.

To date, KaBOOM! has built more than 16,000 playgrounds, engaging more than one million volunteers, saving play for more than 7.4 million children.
