Equipment Operator Senior Chief Robert Shaw, United States Navy Seabees, hails from Boardman, Oregon. He joined the Navy in 1999, and was initially assigned to the USS Rainier (AOE-7) homeported in Bremerton, Washington. Top performance soon earned selection to the Navy Seabees. His duty assignments include Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 74, NMCB 28, and NMCB 5. A veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, he has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. He is currently serving as an Officer Programs Recruiter in Denver.
