Report: Broncos to meet with Shelley Smith

Former Dolphins offensive guard and Colorado State Ram Shelley Smith will meet with the Broncos, a Denver Post report says.

The sixth-year veteran was drafted in the sixth round by Houston, after which he played for the St. Louis Rams before spending the 2014 season with Miami. Smith has played 36 games in his career, including 11 starts. He played for Gary Kubiak in Smith's first two seasons.

Smith was a standout player at Colorado State, selected as an all-conference honorable selection. Per CSU, he allowed only two quarterback hurries in his senior year, and entered the year on the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list.
