Following a 3-1 start, the Broncos have dropped six straight games for the first time in a single season since 1990. Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy already has lost his job, and there's no clear-cut No. 1 QB on the roster. This season couldn't get much worse for Denver.

*You're not soft, Paxton Lynch. But we question how wise it would be start you in same week very capable OC Mike McCoy was thrown to wolves. *

It's been the same story for the Broncos all year. They controlled the game against the Cincinnati Bengals but screwed themselves with turnovers. You can't throw an interception when going in for a score and not expect it to cost you. You can't fumble the ball in the fourth quarter in a one-score game.

The Broncos took a steep drop this week, mostly because they've lost six in a row. We can't hold steady on them based on talent. That was not a contender they fell to at home. Sometimes it feels as though the whole situation is a mess. The quarterback situation is in disarray, while the once-impregnable defense hasn't been able to buy a turnover or a major stop when needed.
