Phillip Lindsay named FedEx Ground Player of the Week

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Another day, another award for Phillip Lindsay.

After winning AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Wednesday, Lindsay was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week on Thursday.

Lindsay defeated Rams RB Todd Gurley and Giants RB Saquon Barkley for the award.

The Denver rookie rushed for 157 yards on 19 carries in the Broncos' 24-10 over the Cincinnati Bengals. He also scored two touchdowns, including a 65-yard score in the third quarter.

Lindsay currently leads the Broncos in touchdowns and ranks fourth in the NFL in rushing.

He is still up for the NFL's rookie of the week award following his Week 13 performance. To vote for him, click here.

FedEx will donate $2,000 to the USO in Lindsay's name. The donation, according to the NFL.com, "will support USO Pathfinder and other programs that help service members transition back to civilian life."
