DENVER —** Early in the second quarter, safety T.J. Ward and nose tackle Sylvester Williams sustained ankle injuries on a Patriots run play. Both were carted to the locker room shortly afterward.
Ward and Williams are each questionable to return.
UPDATE: Ward, Williams and Louis Vasquez have all been ruled out for the game, after further consideration in the third quarter.
For the Patriots, linebacker Dont'a Hightower is questionable to return with a knee injury.
