By the Numbers: Shane Ray

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Shane Ray put up monstrous statistics during his final season at Missouri, leading to consensus All-America honors and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year award. Here are some of his best as he moves on to the next level.

1 - Ray scored one career touchdown at Missouri, a 73-yard scoop-and-score against Oklahoma State that sealed a win in the final minute of the 2014 Cotton Bowl.

4.64 - His 40-yard dash time at the Tigers' pro day, which would have ranked seventh among edge rushers at the NFL Combine.

5 - Fumbles forced in his career at Missouri, including three in 2014.

10 - The length in feet of Ray's broad jump at his pro day.

11 - The number of defensive players from Missouri that have been drafted by NFL teams since 2009. Ray is the fifth of those to go in the first round.

14.5 - Ray's sack tally during 2014, a Missouri single-season record. It also was tops in the SEC and ranked third in the nation.

22.5 - Total tackles for loss in 2014, which also led the SEC and ranked third in the nation.
