Broncos trade up in fifth round, select WR Isaiah McKenzie

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** After trading up in the fifth round to the 172nd-overall pick, the Broncos selected speedster Isaiah McKenzie to join competition at wide receiver and return specialist.

McKenzie made his name as a Georgia Bulldog on special teams, scoring six times on returns: five times on punt returns and once on a kickoff. Nicknamed "The Human Joystick" for his speed and lateral quickness, McKenzie averaged 11.7 yards per punt return and 22.1 yards per kickoff return. At the Combine, he ran a 4.42-second 40-yard dash.

He is the second wide receiver drafted by the Broncos this year after they took Carlos Henderson in the third round. McKenzie will compete with Henderson, third-round pick Brendan Langley and second-year receiver Kalif Raymond, among others, for kickoff and punt-return responsibilities.
