ENGLEWOOD — The Denver Broncos have partnered with Millennium Sports Technologies (MSG) to replace their outdoor synthetic field at Dove Valley with a new sod surface.

The outdoor synthetic field, which was installed in 2003, was removed last week. The new grass field is currently being installed in advance of the Broncos' organized team activities.

Measuring 80 yards in length (100 yards including end zones), the new playing surface consists of 100 percent Kentucky bluegrass sod that was grown by Graff's Turf Farms in Fort Morgan, Colo.

The Broncos' training facility now includes two full-length outdoor sod fields, one 80-yard outdoor sod field and one full-length synthetic field located in the team's new indoor field house.
