Broncos Release Statement on Suspensions

STATEMENT BY AN NFL SPOKESPERSON:

Ryan McBean, D.J. Williams and Virgil Green of the Denver Broncos have been suspended without pay for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances. 

McBean and Williams have been suspended without pay for the team's first six games of the 2012 regular season. Green has been suspended without pay for the team's first four games of the 2012 regular season.

McBean and Williams will be eligible to return to the Broncos' active roster on the day after the team's sixth regular-season game of the 2012 season. Green will be eligible to return to Denver's active roster on the day after the team's fourth regular-season game of the 2012 season.

McBean, Williams and Green are eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.

"We are aware of this matter, but due to the confidentiality of the program, we are unable to provide additional comment on the situation."
