Broncos promote nose tackle Kyle Peko to active roster

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** The Broncos promoted nose tackle Kyle Peko to the active roster on Saturday, filling a spot opened earlier in the week when the team waived cornerback Lorenzo Doss.

Peko, a second-year player out of Oregon State, has spent most of his time in the NFL competing on the Broncos' practice squad, though the team has called him up to the active roster on a couple of occasions. He appeared in the Broncos' Week 2 game against the Cowboys, logging seven snaps on defense and one on special teams. Peko also played in the 2016 season finale, recording 16 snaps on defense and one play on special teams against the Raiders.
