DENVER -- The Denver Broncos invited several key members of Colorado's youth football community to Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Wednesday to talk about the future of football at the youth level. Youth league presidents from the Denver metro area, southern and northern Colorado, were all in attendance to join Broncos team President Joe Ellis in a round table discussion. League representatives had the opportunity to talk about the challenges that youth football leagues face here in Colorado.

"It's important to bring the youth football community leaders together because we all have a responsibility to the kids and parents involved with youth football throughout the state of Colorado," said Bobby Mestas, Director of Youth and High School Football for the Denver Broncos. "Youth football leagues throughout the state will have our support as we strive to make the game of football safer and more enjoyable for kids."  

League representatives who participated in the round table included: Jefferson County Youth Football, Arapahoe Youth League, Aurora Youth League, Rocky Mountain Pop Warner, Denver Police Activities League, Thornton Youth Football, Pueblo Police Activities League, Boy's and Girl's Club, Denver Public Schools, Aurora Public Schools, Fort Collins Youth Football,  Legacy High School and USA Football.
