Broncos free-agency rumors in the final minutes

**

**

Thursday, March 9, 2017:

OG Ronald Leary:

As free agency nears, another offensive lineman has been mentioned in connection with the Broncos.

DL Calais Campbell:

It looked like the Broncos may have tempted Calais Campbell, but he will reportedly sign with the Jaguars.

OG Kevin Zeitler:

The Browns will reportedly continue to beef up their offensive line with the addition of Kevin Zeitler.

DL Chris Baker:

The Buccaneers, who reportedly also will sign DeSean Jackson, may be close to signing Washington's Chris Baker.

QB Tony Romo:

If Romo is released Thursday, as previously reported, the Broncos could be interested, but several reporters suggest Romo's decision could take some time.

RB Danny Woodhead:

Though some reports suggest it may not be a done deal, Woodhead may very well be headed to Baltimore.

Wednesday, March 8, 2017:

OT Russell Okung:

Russell Okung, the Broncos' starting left tackle in 2016, will reportedly test the market, but some reports suggest he may end up back in Denver. Since Okung elected to negotiate without an agent, teams cannot contact the offensive lineman until free agency officially begins on Thursday.

NT Sylvester Williams:

As EVP/GM John Elway said at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine, Sylvester Williams plans to test the open market. That doesn't mean the Broncos won't have their eye on him.

CB Kayvon Webster:

The Broncos have a wealth of options at cornerback, which means Kayvon Webster may need to test the market. Reports show he definitely has suitors as free agency nears.

OLB DeMarcus Ware:

Outside linebacker and nine-time Pro Bowler DeMarcus Ware will find a home for the 2017 season, but reports suggest that may not be in Denver.

QB Tony Romo:

Tony Romo will reportedly be released by the Cowboys on Thursday, which aligns with the start of free agency. When 2 p.m. MT rolls around, teams will be free to negotiate with Romo. There are several teams in the mix who could express interest in the Cowboys' all-time leader in touchdown passes.

RB Danny Woodhead:

If the Broncos are looking for a hybrid back, Danny Woodhead may fit that bill. At least one report says the Broncos may express interest.

DT/DE Chris Baker:

The Washington defensive end recorded 3.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in 2016, and there are rumors linking him to Denver as the Broncos look to shore up their defensive line.

DL Calais Campbell:

Early reports linked DL Calais Campbell to Denver as a strong possibility; however, it appears as if the Jacksonville Jaguars are interested in the veteran free agent, as well.

RT Menelik Watson:

Though the Raiders are heavily working to re-sign RT Menelik Watson, the Broncos are said to be one of the interested teams if he becomes a free agent.

OG Kevin Zeitler:

The Broncos are looking to shore up their offensive line, and help may be on the way in the form of Bengals guard Kevin Zeitler. However, he's also been linked to the Cleveland Browns.
