Broncos-Chiefs Ties Best TV Rating

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. –The Broncos continue to be one of the most popular teams on television this season as Sunday's 35-28 victory tied the win in Dallas as the highest-rated football game on any network this season.

The game in Kansas City earned a preliminary national household rating/share of 16.7/29. The win in Dallas drew a 16.7/31. The 16.7/29 is the highest-rated NFL game window of the day on any network, including primetime. 

Both the game Sunday and the game in Dallas were broadcast on CBS – giving  the network the two highest-rated football games of the 2013 season.

In the first 13 Weeks of the season the Sunday afternoon games have combined to average a national household rating/share of 15.7/29 which makes it 22 percent higher than the average for the Sunday night broadcasts that are averaging 12.9/29.

Additionally, the afternoon games are averaging 26.5 million viewers so far this season.
