Nix led all rookie quarterbacks in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total touchdowns, and he ranked second in passer rating. His 29 touchdown passes were the second most by a rookie in league history.

"I plan on being a better player, a faster player, a stronger player [and a] smarter player," Singleton said. "And that's what a year off has given me. It'll be exciting to show that."

As Bo Nix reflected on his rookie season, the chance to gain valuable lessons from 18 starts across the regular season and playoffs was among the biggest takeaways from a prolific first campaign.

"I think we're headed in the right direction, and there's going to be a lot of guys here that are going to be part of it," tackle Mike McGlinchey said.
