Broncos agree to terms with guard Shelley Smith

**

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. —** Former Miami Dolphin guard and CSU Ram Shelley Smith is returning to Colorado as a Bronco on an two-year contract, Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway announced on Friday.

Smith began his NFL career in Houston under head coach Kubiak for two seasons before being signed by the Rams for two years and then the Dolphins, where he played for one season last year. He has started in 11 of his 36 career games.

Smith was a standout player at Colorado State, selected as an all-conference honorable selection. Per CSU, he allowed only two quarterback hurries in his senior year, and entered the year on the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list.
